Goddess Sita Maa description

She is the consort of Lord Rama, the 7th incarnation (avatar) of Lord Vishnu. She is one of the most popular goddesses of Hindu spiritual tradition.

Goddess Sita is also considered the incarnation of Goddess Lakshmi (the goddess of prosperity, purity, wealth, abundance, generosity, and the embodiment of grace, beauty, and charm), the divine consort of Vishnu. Goddess Sita is considered the ideal wife, ideal daughter, and ideal mother, since ages.

She is remembered for her attributes and virtues. Devi Sita represents all that is noble in womanhood.

The Sanskrit word Sita translates as “furrow” or “the line made by the plow,” a term held by ancient Indians to be redolent of fecundity and the many blessings that accrue from settled agriculture.

Lord Rama and Goddess Sita are recognized as a divine couple, the union of female and male, Atma and Paramatma, Lord and devotee, macrocosm and microcosm, Kundalini and Shiva (Supreme Consciousness).

Chanting Sita Ram Mantra – Shri Ram Jai Ram Jai Jai Ram benefits

Ancient mantras are as subtle as the air which creates ripples in the water as it slowly moves over it. Air is all-pervading and at the same time affects particular regions. The domain of the mantras is also such. It is all –pervading and also creates a beneficial impact (on mind and body) on the one who is practicing.

This Sanskrit mantra balances both sides of the brain. It vitalizes and harmonizes the whole physical body, removing blockages, cleansing toxins and impurities, activating our self-awareness, shedding light on what were once dark recesses of our mind, body, spirit trinity.
