„Om Kamadevaya Vidmahe Pushpa Baanaya Dhimahi Tanno Ananga Prachodayath.”
Translation in English:
„Om, Let me meditate on the God of love, Oh, God who is the forest of flowers, give me higher intellect, and let the God of love illuminate my mind. ”
Kama is the God of love, and this is His Gayatri. Lord Kamadeva is referred from the ages of the Vedic period. Kamadeva, the Indian Cupid, is usually viewed as the son of Goddess Lakshmi and Lord Vishnu – The Protector, under the forms of Rukmini and Krishna, but God of Love is also portrayed in some places as a son of Brahma – The Creator God.
